CTE is pleased to announce that we have merged with Southern Municipal Equipment to start a new company, Southern Vac, a leading provider of sweepers, sewer, and storm drain equipment in the southeast.
For over 15 years, Southern Municipal, based in Lexington, SC has been committed to meeting and exceeding the sewer and storm drain equipment needs in the Carolinas. To further enhance their position as the industry leader, they have partnered with us at CTE to build upon their capabilities and territory. Southern Municipal owners Russell and Wanda Senn will remain with the new company Southern VAC, Wanda as the Office Manager, Russell as General Manager.
Headquarters will remain in Lexington, SC. We will have Branch operations in Greensboro, NC, covering all of NC and Nashville, TN, covering that state.
This partnership further strengthens our position in the hydro excavator, sweeper, industrial vacuum, and underground camera markets. The combination of Southern Municipal’s experienced team and premiere product lines with CTE’s outstanding salesforce and internal resources will be unparalleled in the market.
As with all important business decisions, we will work closely with our customers, partners, and employees to make the integration process as smooth as possible.
We believe the creation of Southern VAC will unlock amazing new possibilities for our company, our valued customers, and friends. Southern VAC will remain a small personal company, but with big resources to ensure we can continue to keep our customers equipment up and running no matter where they are operating from.
